  2. You must select your Line Set length (the cable from the Indoor Unit to the outdoor Condenser) for each zone.

Note: The system configurations in the "Select Your DIY System" ensures that even if all indoor units (air handlers) run simultaneously, their combined BTU output will not exceed the BTU rating of the outdoor unit (condenser). There are no other possible product combinations for this specific product. If it doesn't meet your needs, select a different product beginning with your largest zone.

Caution: the total Line Set length for this system is 220 feet. That means all lines combined. We cannot be responsible if you choose Line Set lengths whose total length is longer than the maximum allowed.

The 4th Generation MRCOOL® DIY 36K BTU 4-Zone Ductless Heat Pump offers the latest in heat pump innovations.This condenser has the ability to support up to 4 zones and, when paired with select MRCOOL® air handlers, can provide a SEER efficiency rating of up to 21.5. It even has the ability to provide heat when temperatures drop to -13°F. It features a Gold Fin Condenser coating which allows it to withstand the elements and resist corrosion. MRCOOL® stands behind the quality & durability of this condenser by being the only manufacturer to offer a limited lifetime compressor warranty. However, the most innovative feature is that it can be installed by the homeowner without the use of a certified technician. This is possible because the condenser is intended to be used with MRCOOL® patented Pre-Charged Quick Connect Line Sets. These line sets are precharged with R-410A refrigerant and feature quick connect connectors which allow it to be connected using only wrenches. Because it is pre-charged, the system will not require vacuuming once the installation is complete. As part of a MRCOOL® DIY system, the Ductless Wall Mounted Air Handler are one of the most efficient air handlers available. Not only can they produce from 18.5 SEER to 22 SEER efficiency rating, depending on the model (9K, 12K, 18K, 24K, 36K) each Air Handler can cover an area from 375 sf up to 1,500 sf. They are incredibly versatile and equipped with multiple operating modes, which include COOL, HEAT, AUTO, DRY (dehumidify), and SLEEP. They can also has the capability to be controlled by your Apple or Android smartphone through the use of the Smart HVAC app. With their light and compact design, they can be installed easily to most interior walls with the included mounting plate. To take the simplicity of the installation even further, these air handlers are designed to be used with MRCOOL® patented Pre-Charged Quick Connect Line Set.
